Product Description

A Phase Shifted FBG Fiber Bragg Grating introduces phase discontinuities into a fiber grating, creating a narrow transmission window in the FBG's reflection spectrum. The transmission wavelength varies with the amount of phase shift. Phase-shifted FBGs can be used as demultiplexers in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) systems. The magnitude, location, and point of the phase shift have a significant impact on the performance of the demultiplexer.
